:::::::Please note that "Genjo Sanzo" is more commonly used than the more accurate translation "Genjyo Sanzou"::::::This modern-day manga / anime hero is based on the hero of the classical chinese fantasy entitled Journey To The West, which in turn refers to XuanZhang, the real person who, at 19 years of age, became a scholar-monk at Chang-Ann, and who journeyed to India and returned with three important collections of scriptures, among other works of enlightenment and guidance::::::Minekura's version is completely irreverant, and mine is worse::::::
